~The Kremmling area possibly offers the widest variety of outdoor activities in Northwest Colorado. Many of them only a few miles away.~

FISHING

Anglers will discover heaven fly fishing the confluence of the Colorado River, catching Northern Pike in the William's Fork Reservoir or even filling a stringer of Kokanee Salmon from Green Mountain Reservoir.  Giant Mackinaw, also known as Lake Trout, can be hauled into your boat on Grand Lake or catch your limit of Rainbow and Cutbow Trout from Wolford Reservoir.  Whether you like to fish from the bank, the boat or wade right on in, you won't drive over an hour from Red Mountain RV Park.

HUNTING

Hunting season is a big time of the year here in Grand County and many hunters bag trophy Elk and Mule Deer within minutes of Red Mountain RV Park. Photo hunters, too, can find plenty of wildlife to fill their galleries wall-to-wall. Moose, Big Horn Sheep, Bear, Cougars and Eagles are just a small sampling of the animals you can see with just a short drive from your RV.

WATER SPORTS

Kayakers and Rafters will experience the thrill of rafting the Blue River and test their skills shooting the rapids on the Colorado River as it rushes through Gore Canyon. If you don't have your own float then visit one of the many fine River Guides located in the area. Speaking of canyons, Railroad Buffs can fill up several rolls of film as Union and Southern Pacific Railroad motors work their way up the Gore and Byers Canyon.
